The wallet-wiltingly high price tag of Apple’s littlest MacBook just got a bit friendlier. The Mac maker has slashed the price of its top-spec version, making the razor-thin lappy more likely than ever to dink your bank account.
Previously £2,029, Apple’s top-notch Air now costs £1,719. That’s a £310 reduction, and means those eyeing its solid-state drive and beefed up processor might be more likely to drop the required wonga.
Of course, the Air still has its original faults. There’s still just one USB port, and the battery can’t be replaced at home.
Still, you’ll get the same LED backlit screen and 2GB of memory, not to mention the pride of packing Apple’s most desirable laptop to date.
