Yes, we all know the Macbook Air is slimmer and sexier than an Eee PC, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on features like the multitouch trackpad. All it takes is a driver update to turn it on.
JKKMobile has posted a short video showing it all in action. You can flip back and forth between webpages, scroll around and even switch apps all without taking your fingers off the touchpad. In fact, you get more options than on the Macbook Air, but that’s not necessarily a good thing and you might want to turn some of the gestures off so you don’t activate them accidentally.
In order to get it working, you need to download the updated driver from Elantech which actually makes the touchpad in the Eee PC.
