StixThe coming months will see a tsunami of peripherals heading the way of our consoles. Now PC gamers can get in on the act with Stix, a Wii-taunting motion-sensitive controller.

Looking like the villainous sibling of Nintendo’s own Wiimote, the Stix controller hopes to tear casual PC gamers away from the keyboard and mouse and onto something less conventional.

“Stix will completely change the way people experience online and PC gaming,” said Brian Zheng, President of Playhut.

At the moment, compatible games are scarce, but a new online games portal called sphere is offering thousands of free online games to take advantage.

With rumours constantly resurfacing over a possible Xbox 360 and PS3 motion sensitive controller, we’re in for some interesting times.
