Google has launched an application allowing Windows users to stream their PC’s videos, music and photos to UPnP devices like the PlayStation 3. While that’s not the most earth-shattering piece of news (the PS3 can already stream files via Windows Media Player), Google Media Server also allows users to stream YouTube videos and Picasa web albums.
It’s currently an early beta release, so there are likely to be a few issues to contend with – but it’s free too.
