When Samba De Amigo hit the Dreamcast it sent fans into a frenzy with its maraca attachment, and now it’s coming to the Wii, complete with wireless rhythm sticks.
Its been a long time coming, but we’ve dusted off our sombreros; ready to shake it to the Samba soundtracks on offer.
Thankfully the Wii attachments come complete with authentic maraca sounds, so it still feels as close to the real thing as the Dreamcast version did.
For those not familiar with the original version, it’s quite simple. Simply shake the Wiimote to the beat, trying to follow the blue dots on screen. It’s the same premise as Guitar Hero, but with more arm waving and less finger-twitching.
At the moment there’s no word on the full track list, but if it’s anything like the Dreamcast version, you can expect a raucous soundtrack full of Latin fervour and energy.
Check out the trailer below, it’s sure to get you in the mood.
