We’ve always suspected Nancy Dell’Olio was a few footballers short of a full side, but her latest dalliance in designer electronics tops the lot. She’s cranked out this furry monstrosity in aid of the British Red Cross, auctioning it off to the highest bidder.
As much as we’d love to predict a giant cheque will be winging its way to the Red Cross, we’ve a feeling Dell’Olio’s creation will raise a few pence, rather than a few thousand.
The phone, which has been decorated “in a Rio carnival style” comprises glitter, glue, and fluff, all assembled with the skill of a blindfolded toddler.
Originally a pristine Doro NeoBio phone, it’s now heading to eBay where it’ll no doubt spark a frenzied bidding war amongst those keen to offload a few coppers.
Chris Millington, managing director of Doro, reckons he’s “delighted Nancy agreed to put her own touch to the NeoBio” and the company plans tons more celebrity re-designs. Seriously.
