Some lateral thinking by Gessi has given us the Rettangolo taps that gush from the ceiling when you twiddle the joystick. Somehow it seems more logical.
The Italian designer has turned the traditional rules of plumbing on its head by installing the slender faucet in the ceiling so that it fills the sink below using gravity rather than water pressure. It probably won’t suit the piping in the average house, but it’ll certainly take your guests by surprise. The rest of the Renttangolo collection is equally stylish, but rather more conventional. Boo.
