Asus’s dinky, super-cheap Eee PC might be grabbing headlines, but the firm has just launched a laptop that comes in right at the opposite end of the market. The M70 is a hulking 17-inch desktop replacement with Blu-ray and a terabyte (yes, 1,000GB) of storage space. Blimey!
This notebook looks every bit the media powerhouse on paper. You can ogle Blu-ray movies on the full HD 1920 x 1200 screen, let the four high-end Altec Lansing speakers tickle your ears with their loveliness and record a ridiculous amount of TV shows onto the hard drive. Yes, there’s a TV tuner built in, too. Alternatively, that terabyte gives you enough space to store over 350 movies and half a million pictures.
Early buyers of the M70 will get a Blu-ray copy of Batman Begins chucked in to sweeten the deal.
Out now | From £970 approx.
