Already excited about PS3 Firmware 2.4? It’s the one that will finally bring trophy achievements and in-game access to the console’s Cross Media Bar, or XMB. Well, prepare for joy overload as all the details of the juicy firmware have been let loose.
The crafty gamers at CVG say they’ve got hold of a list of features for the new firmware, which will be launched in around three weeks time, the same period E3 takes place.
They also report there will be full 2D trophy features with four types: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum for high achievers.
The fact it’s all hush hush is very intriguing, meaning there could be more news we don’t yet know about, but might be unveiled at E3.
But whatever happens we’re on the case, and will bring you the news when we hear it.
