With Intel’s Centrino 2 possibly coming out as early as mid-July, details of Lenovo’s Thinkpad X200 have come sliding out on Chinese website 51nb.
According to the post, Lenovo’s latest looker will put Centrino 2 to work with a power efficient P-series Core 2 Duo running up to 2.4GHz but drawing just 25W of battery juice. It’ll come packing a 12.1in WXGA screen, DDR3 memory and available with either a droptastic 64GB SSD or less bash happy spinning disk up to 320GB.
There’s no internal optical drive, but you can bolt on options like GPS or Wimax. It’s a hardy little thing, with a magnesium alloy chassis and lid and when pushed it should be able to keep on slogging for a mammoth 9.6 hours from a single charge.
