Been practicing your strumming technique in preparation for Guitar Hero On Tour? If not, then the sight of the brand new guitar peripheral should be enough to get you cranking the volume up to 11 and getting your, erm, rock on. Its finally been revealed, sporting a touch of retro about it. Oh, and the drums and mic too.
Now the obligatory reference to Spinal Tap is over, it’s time to talk Guitar Hero. You might have noticed there’s a Wii controller sitting in the Guitar. No, it’s not a result of those overexcited women, it’s the soon to be the weapon of choice for wannabe Wii rockers.
We’re rather split by its retro charms, but we’ll reserve judgement until we get our instrument-starved paws on it. Speaking of instruments you can check out pics of the microphone and drum kit, complete with cymbals here.
With a full ensemble it promises to be a whole different experience, add the ability to record your own songs and it’s a tool for both unbridled fun and chaos in one tuneful package.
