Fancy a dose of HD telly without the wallet wilting price tag? There’s always Freesat, for the really stingy, but now Sky’s an option too, since it just dropped the price of its all-singing, all-dancing box.
The new price comes with a new name. It’ll no longer be known as Sky HD, but Sky+ HD, and will now cost £150, instead of the £250 it was previously.
That’s a tasty saving, but to grab HD channels you’ll still need to shell out an extra £10 a month on the HD Mix package, on top of an existing channel selection.
And then there’s installation. You’re looking at £60 if you’re already with Sky, or £30 for new subscribers.
Interested? Then head to Sky’s website. And don’t forget to take a sneak peek at the new Sky HD EPG while you’re at it.
