Those leaks were right: Sony Ericsson just launched its F305 handset, marking the mobile maker’s first attempt at a dedicated gaming phone.
Inside its shell are accelerometers for tilt-controlled gaming, as well as dedicated gaming keys on the front.
Pre-loaded games including Bowling, Bass Fishing and Jockey all use the phone’s motion sensors, while Gameloft has been brought onboard to create more motion-sensitive titles.
Not enough for you? Don’t worry, Sony Ericsson’s download service, PlayNow, has an extra 50 2D and 3D games just itching for a spot on the handset.
On the hardware front, the F305 packs in stereo speakers, a 2 megapixel camera and a 2 inch screen. Nothing too fancy, and it’s not 3G, but if you’re after a fun phone without too many frills, it could be just the thing.
