Stealthy fans impatient for the next installment of the robotic blockbuster, not due for release until June 2009, are sneaking about near the sets of Transformers 2 : Revenge of the Fallen, and uncovering some decent snaps to get the rest of us hot under the collar.
Pictured is the SR-71 Blackbird (aka Jetfire) tucked away in a hangar during filming at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington DC.
According to leaked crew call sheets, other new Transformers set to start in T2 are Stinger (a Porsche with laser-guided missiles?) Arcee the girl motorcycle, The Twins (an ice cream truck) an unnamed Audi R8, a go-kart based character and a construction earth mover.
