Toy manufacturer Megabrands are bringing a whole new range of “put-it-together-yourself” toys for those who include patience amongst their virtues, and the star amongst this new breed called Struxx is the impressive 500 piece prehistoric beast called Robotrixx.
Once constructed, he stands at 4 ½ ft long and 2 ½ ft tall and features animatronics, including motorised motion, lights, sound, a number of optional alternative builds and is fully posable.
Each set comprises three basic pieces to make the whole thing click together, these are ball, socket and rod connectors that’ll ensure your completed creature won’t literally let you down.
We saw this exciting new piece of self-construction kit at Toy Fair back in January and are certain of its appeal to kids of all ages. Oh, and probably a few adults too.
