Slingplayer on iPhone and iPod touchWe knew Sling Media was working on iPhone and iPod touch versions of its Slingplayer software, and now we’ve seen it in action!

The tech-heads at Engadget got a peep at the next-gen TV streaming software, just itching for a place on Apple’s new 3G iPhone.

Quality looks top notch, and the interface is ultra-slick too. Sling’s programmers have made flicking between favourite channels and tapping into remote TV boxes easier than ever. Take a look at the video below, and pray it’ll also be shown off as part of Steve Jobs’ keynote tonight.

Finally, I’m trying to get live TV from my Time Warner cable subscription to my iPhone, yet Orb AND Slinger both require a PC. What f*ing retards. I know a lot of windows users now enjoy the iPhone, but Apple is MAC (which means windows users now enjoy macs), so for iPhone apps to be only compatible with PC’s is a f*ing joke. Its like eating a peanut butter sandwich but putting the two dry ends of the bread together.
