The idea is simple – you get a case with a 15.4in screen, Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT 512MB graphics card, Intel PM965 chipset and 8x DVD writer, not to mention a full keyboard, integrated touchpad, built-in speakers and a battery. You supply the processor, RAM, hard drive and OS and away you go.
A few hours and a little bad language later and you’ve got yourself a ready to run lappy. Obviously you’re limited to a Core 2 Duo chip so you don’t actually get that much flexibility when it comes to picking parts, but it should keep you quiet on a rainy weekend.
