There’s now just three days until WWDC kicks off, and Apple’s begun to take over the Moscone Centre in San Fransisco, covering the venue with banners and signalling that one thing is on the agenda: OS X.
Huge drapes and banners have been unfurled, outlining Apple’s commitment to splitting its OS X platform in two. One for desktops, one for mobile. We’ve already heard rumours that it’ll show off the next generation of OS X for desktops, dubbed Snow Leopard, but will we see the next-gen iPhone with all new OS X software? It’s the strongest sign yet.
We’re expecting Steve Jobs to unveil the new iPhone App Store, but to do that he’ll also have to show off the phone’s new software, the so called iPhone 2.0 platform.
Of course, that will likely come packaged in an all new phone. A 3G iPhone.
Still confused about what to expect? Check out our WWDC guide.
