Now we’re all for a bit of buzz surrounding one of the biggest launches of the year, but now Australian iPhone fanatics are getting all hot and bothered over… a cardboard box.
Unearthed by the eagle-eyed tech fanciers at Stuff.tv, it’s an Apple-branded box with a note warning: “Subject to the terms of NDA. Do not open until June 10th 2008.”
Since Steve Jobs’ keynote address will take place on June 10th thanks to the time difference down under, there’s a chance it could be the real deal, but we have to ask ourselves, if there really is a 3G phone in there, why take a picture of the box and not the phone?
We’re calling this one a big fat fake, but be our guest and take a peek at the suspicious package here.
