It’s lunchtime, so grab a sandwich and settle down for a recap of everything gadget-shaped you’ve missed this morning.
Are you sick of the 3G iPhone yet? Don’t worry, there’s not long to go. It looks like Steve Jobs is preparing to announce the next-generation handset at WWDC on Monday.
The latest murmurs are that he’ll also unleash 3rd party applications onto the iPhone and iPod touch, with the much-anticipated launch of Apple’s App Store. But there could yet be “one more thing” he has to announce.
We’ve heard that Apple is also working on a Mac Tablet, but that it won’t be on show at WWDC, instead making its debut at a special event in August.
That leaves the stage clear for an iPhone-centric display by Jobs, possibly including all-new web-based services tailored for the handset.
If you’ve had enough of all things Apple-shaped, check out Asus’s Eee Box, it’s finally broken cover and spilled its specs for all to see. Have a look here, and see why we’re already clearing a space on our desktops for it.
Has that satisfied your tech appetite for one lunchtime? If not, head back to the homepage for even more tasty gadget news nuggets.
