Wind power? Pah! When it comes to eco-friendly seafaring, this solar boat has the competition reeling in its wake. It’s sleek, sexy and most importantly, fast!
Created by Czeers, the Mk1 prototype is based on the 2006 Nuon Frisian Solar Challenge winner, and can reach a top speed of 30 knots.
The whole vehicle is powered by integrated solar cells, while weight it kept down thanks to a carbon fiber hull.
There’s no price or availability yet, but when we’re finally alowed to order one, we’ll be opting for some slightly more tasteful upholstery. Tale a look at that yellow interior! It might be green, but it’s certainly not tasteful. Check out the video below!
