Check out these bonkers monitors from LG. They’re stretched to crazy proportions, but don’t get too excited about extending your desktop just yet.
While we reckon they could be perfect for gamers, LG says they’re designed for use in large commercial areas like shopping centres, cinemas and airports.
They’re designed to be mounted horizontally or vertically, and are available in 29 inch and 38 inch versions.
A screen resolution of 1366 x 398 and 1366 x 480 respectively means they’re no good for HD video, but they do look suspiciously similar to Alienware’s ultra-wide curved displays, which are specifically designed for gamers.
What do you think? Are wide screens the future? Any chance you’d have one of these on your desks? Let us know in the comments section below.
