All eyes are on Apple in the run up to WWDC next week, where Steve Jobs is expected to unveil the 3G iPhone. The latest rumour is it’ll pack more memory, and a slimmer shell than ever before.
According to the Cult of Mac, the handset will also pack GPS and improved battery life.
The source of the new information is purportedly a “programmer at a major software publisher” who the website claims has “seen the specs for the iPhone 2.”
We’ve set our speculation detectors to 11 on this one, but according to the website, and their annonymous tipster, the new phone will be available in 16GB and 32GB flavours.
It’s also claimed the new mobile will be heavily subsidised too. Now that, we’ve heard before.

Hi..I just entered your competition to win the wonderful green LG steam washing machine, and had to click on the box saying that I agree to the terms and conditions, but when I clicked on the competition rules, it just came to this page…Thought I better let you know. It also didn’t seem to register my phone number the first time, so it might have entered me twice (which might have broken the rules!)Would so love to win it, would hate to spoil my chances!
Thanks,
Wendy
