The latest addition to the Asus Eee PC family has turned up earlier than expected at the WiMax Expo show in Taipei. The little lappy was expected to be launched at Computex tomorrow when Intel takes the wraps off its Diamondville Atom processor.
It’ll be powered by a 1.6GHz Atom chip and 1GB of RAM and comes with either Windows or Linux depending on your facial hair preference. Linux lovers get a 20GB flash hard drive while Windows punters only get 12GB to play with.
The screen stretches to 8.9in and WiFi and Bluetooth come as standard. There’s also a WiMax version in the works and it comes in a choice of non-colours: black or white.
Out June | £TBC
