New York City’s giant Apple store has shut down. That can only mean one thing. New products. But this time it’s Apple’s 5th avenue retail store that is getting the lockdown, complete with lights and film crews… could they be shooting the 3G iPhone ad?
Sneaky employees have told passers by that a commercial is being shot. They’re remaining tight-lipped about the details, but we reckon it must be the 3G iPhone ad.
By the looks of things the ad will take place in and around the glassy flagship store but It’s all very hush-hush, with passers by being told they can’t even cross the street to take a peek.
It’s certainly an omen. The only other lockdowns of the store were followed by the iPhone and Leopard launches.
