You might recognise the Samsung Steel. On the outside it’s strikingly similar to the recently-launched Samsung Soul, but inside you’ll find it’s less impressive overall… and that Samsung’s ripped out the Soul’s natty ‘Magical Touch” screen.
The Steel’s a more serious customer overall, packing less impressive multimedia skills and looking less fun than the Soul.
Its 3.2 megapixel camera is puny compared to the Soul’s 5 meg snapper, for instance, and it’s only available on Vodafone too.
So what’s the good news? Not much we’re afraid. It seems the only skill the Steel has over the Soul is HSDPA for speedy web browsing. Good news for internet fun, but bad news almost everywhere else.
