Sometimes the best gadgets are the cheapest ones. The Flip is a full-blown camcorder, shooting DVD-quality footage, but will cost you less than £100 when it goes on sale next month.
It’s been out in the US for months, but the UK’s about to get a taste of its cut-price cinematic joys.
See, it might be a budget camcorder, but it’s also an extremely well designed one. The USB connector’s built in, so you won’t have to hunt for the right cable to offload footage and there’s power supplied by AA batteries, so replacing them is easy if you run low on juice away from home.
There’s also a TV connector included in the box, so showing off your clips is as simple as possible.
Check out our hands-on video below. We tested a US model, but the UK version will be exactly the same. We’ve fallen for the Flip Ultra in a big way, now if only its memory was expandable…
Out June | £99
