Apple flavoured rumours just keep coming. If it’s not Apple TV updates, 3G iPhones or aluminium laptops, it’s LED-lit MacBooks.
The latest tittle-tattle from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News is that all MacBooks shipped next year will pack LED-backlit displays.
That means slimmer screens, brighter backlights and less power consumption. That, in turn, means more battery life.
At present, Apple only uses LED lighting in the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Seeing it expand LED use to MacBooks would be a very nice thing indeed.
