It’s lunchtime, so grab a sandwich and settle down for a recap of everything gadget-shaped you’ve missed this morning.
For a start, you’ll want to dash back home sharpish tonight and fire up your Wii. Nintendo’s finally launched WiiWare, letting gamers grab proper titles rather than retro re-hashes. Check out our video of it in action, then think up an excuse and dash home from work early.
Not bothered about the Wii? Then how about a dinky laptop? The Eee PC’s under serious pressure from the MSI Wind, and now Medion’s Akoya laptop (which is actually the same machine, deep down). It’s a 10-inch ‘puter with Intel’s latest Atom technology inside. It comes with Windows XP as standard though, so it’s great for those with a Linux allergy.
We’ve also got word that Napster’s dropped DRM from all six million of its music tracks, as well as letting you download them on Macs for the first time… and speaking of music downloads, the latest gossip about the 3G iPhone is that it’ll let owners grab music from iTunes wherever they are, not just in a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Has that satisfied your tech appetite for one lunchtime? If not, head back to the homepage for even more tasty gadget news nuggets.
