We’ve already installed a ton of N-Gage games onto our N-Series Nokias, and now there’s news that Konami will be bringing its biggest titles to the platform, including Metal Gear Solid.
According to the game-maker, its N-Gage version of Metal Gear Mobile will “raise the bar with respect to graphical detail and made-for-mobile features”.
We’re told there’ll be “dramatic 3D art displays” and fancy camera movements.
All possible thanks to N-Gage’s 3D acceleration, we’re sure, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We hear that Metal Gear Mobile will use a special camouflage system, using the phone’s camera to sample real world scenery, then “blend into it”.
Sounds strange, but exciting. We’ll be sure to bring you news on its release date as soon as we hear it.
