Canon Digital SLRDon’t re-charge your digital camera, fill it up! That’s Canon’s latest plan, according to a patent showing their designs for next-gen snappers.

The technology would be perfect for photographers on shoots in remote locations, since it’ll re-charge cameras using fuel, rather than electricity from a plug.

Small enough to fit in standard-sized digital SLRs, it’s still very much in the development phase, but could mean an end to flat batteries out and about, as well as more clicking between recharges.
