Everyone’s favourite time-waster’s about to get a major overhaul, making profile pages cleaner and more relevant, as well as cutting down on the clutter from clumsy apps.
Rolling out next month, Facebook’s new look is currently in the final stages of testing, and will see profile pages split into five separate tabs. Those tabs will be called “feed,” showing recent activity, “info,” for basic profile information, as well as tabs for the ever-popular “wall”, “photos” and “applications” sections.
The new look has been under construction since the beginning of the year, and will be unleashed on the site’s nine million members next month.
What do you think? Is a re-vamp justified? Have you had it with apps invading your profile? Let us know in the comments section below.
