Finding out what your mates get up to just got easier because ‘Windows Live Search’ for mobiles has a slew of new features to keep users connected with the world around them. And it’s free.
Not only will it get hold of your mates addresses from your contact list; it will also plot them on a map and provide directions to them automatically. Think of it as a sat-nav for humans.
Other nifty nuggets include easy-peasy price comparisons and four-day weather forecasts. It will also let you to check out any maps and events and shared by the local community. Car boot sale anyone?
All sounds very fetching, but we’d like to see features such as being able to direct us to the nearest pub, cinema or even the nearest kebab shop after a night out and then back to our home. All whilst in a drunken stupor. The moment Microsoft crack that, they’ll own our wallet good and proper.
