The onwards march of technology is great, but sometimes you’ve got to think of the people that get left behind. German designer Matthias Pinkert is doing his bit to help the aged with the EMC (Easy Mobile Calling) - a phone so simple that even Peter Andre shouldn’t have trouble using it unsupervised.
It’s only got four buttons - and one of them is a ‘help - I’ve had an accident’ alert. You also don’t need to fret that Granny doesn’t know where she is as the built in GPS will help you find her when she’s got lost on the way back from bingo.
There’s also no numeric keypad, so you don’t need to worry about the old dear burning through your inheritance playing TV phone in quizzes all afternoon. Bonus.
