Sony’s touting Trophy’s for PS3 owners…Looks like Sony’s beefing up the PS3’s rewards system. In an update to the description of PlayStation Network title, PixelJunk Eden, it lists ‘Trophy support,’ but what does it mean?

Speculation is rife that Sony’s prepping rewards (or Trophies) in the form of exclusive graphics that gamers can collect and show off. You’d need to earn them during specific games, but could then proudly display them for all to see.

Gaming blog Kotaku seems to think they’ll be shown off on the PS3’s Cross Media Bar menu, but we wouldn’t be surprised if they’re also a feature of PlayStation Home too.

Stay tuned, we’ll bring you more as soon as we’ve unravelled some of the mystery.
