Microsoft’s rumoured to be updating the hardware inside its Xbox 360, but now there are also whispers of a re-design for the outside too, making it slimmer and sexier all round.
Just as Sony refreshed its PlayStation 2 with a super-skinny version, the slimline Xbox 360 would take advantage of Microsoft’s smaller processors, and it’s building of the CPU and GPU on the same chip.
According to TG Daily, the hardware redesign will come in 2009, which could put Microsoft on track to tackle Sony’s much-rumoured slim PS3.
What do you think. Are you running short on space under the telly? Would a slim Xbox 360 sort you out a treat? Let us know in the comments section.
