That’s the news just in from John Safa, chief security bod at DriveSentry. Safa loaded up Limewire (for research purposes, natch) and within minutes found a copy of the naughty Downloader.Win32.VB.dck Trojan masquerading as a cracked release of GTA 4 for the Xbox 360.
It gets worse, though. Not only are there dodgy copies of the console versions floating about, some cunning crackers are offering up malware disguised as the PC version. That’ll be the PC version that’s not even out yet. Duh.
