BT Vision’s getting a new and improved telly box, but don’t get too excited, there’re few new services, just increased storage for recording shows, a slightly speedier processor and improved energy efficiency.
It should mean BT Vision viewers can zip through on-demand shows and interactive services faster than ever, although the core service of Freeview plus on-demand telly through broadband remains unchanged.
The new V-Box is intended to lure two to three million customers to BT’s telly service. It’ll be made by Pace, and start appearing in stores in the very near future.
