Nintendo’s announced WiiWare, it’s downloadable games service for the arm-waving wonder console, will hit the UK on May 20th. It comes just after the US got its first taste of the new service yesterday, and will bring delectable bundles of fun down your broadband cable, ready for a summer spent working up a sweat indoors.
In the initial line-up, Ninty says we’ll see Lost Winds from Frontier, Pirates: The Key of Dreams from Oxygen Interactive and TV Show King from Gameloft.
That’s on top of big name titles including Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles and Dr Mario.
Expect to pay around £3.50 for smaller games, although games like Final Fantasy and Mario will obviously squeeze your credit card a little more.
Touted as Nintendo’s answer to the Xbox’s live arcade, WiiWare will bring new games every Monday. We simply can’t wait.
Out May 20th | From £3.50
