Sony Ericsson BeiBeiThere’s a flurry of excitement at the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog, where they’ve seized upon pictures of an unannounced handset, reportedly called the BeiBei.

Packing the latest version of the UIQ Symbian operating system, it’ll pack Wi-Fi and what looks like a vertical scroll wheel instead of a direction pad.

There’s also a strange appendage jutting out of its side in one of the photos, which we’re told is the phone’s stylus – meaning it’ll have a touchscreen, and probably sport Sony Ericsson’s handwriting recognition software.

Other than that, specs are short in supply, but from what we’ve seen of the etched design on the back, clean interface and swanky fascia it’s all looking good. We’re not sure about the name though. BeiBei… seems a bit odd to us.
