We’ve been promised there’ll be a Sling Player app for iPhone before long, but Orb has beaten Sling to the punch, rolling our Orb Live to let iPhone (or iPod touch) owners gorge on live TV and streamed video from afar.

Forget the MacBook Air. Turn your back on Toshiba’s latest lappies. Dell’s finally shed it’s humdrum skin to reveal brand new Inspiron laptops with tapered designs, thin shells, built in 3G and optional Blu-Ray drives. Those specs are enough to give Apple and Co the willies, and they’re on sale in the US next month.

The Wii remote is one of the great gaming innovations of all time, and it seems Apple’s in agreement. The latest patent documents from Cupertino show the Mac maker considering a similar controller for the Apple TV.
