Gear4 has been teasing us with glimpses of its new Duo dock for weeks, but now we’ve got all the details. It’s a two piece dock, with a mains-powered bass speaker and a detachable, rechargeable satellite speaker (shaped to form the front of the dock, when it’s connected to the bass speaker). Unclip the satellite speaker, and you can take it out and about. Connect it all together, and you’ve got a beefy dock for use in the home. It’s a neat idea. The satellite speaker pumps out 18W alone, and 38W when connected to its bigger brother. What do you reckon? Two docks are better than one, right?
