We’re filing this one firmly in the “speculation” drawer, but according to iLounge, manufacturers are already crafting accessories for the next-gen iPhone, working from a spec sheet that details the handset’s redesigned shape and new 3G camera.
According to iLounge’s sources, the new phone will be much the same size and shape as the current one, but with “slightly different curves, coloration, and materials.”
A slightly tapered shell, “like the MacBook Air,” and an all-plastic casing appear to be the order of the day, as well as colour options including black, white and red.
The diagrams (which you can see by clicking on the image above), also show an extra sensor on the front of the phone. Could this be a front-facing camera for 3G video calls? Our spider sense is tingling… what do you think? Let us know in the comments section
