Good news Skype fans! The internet phone firm just unleashed its latest version, with an all new “audio engine” to deliver crisper sound, fewer drop outs and less delay. There’s also improved handling of headphones and microphones, so you can switch from a headset to built in speakers and mic without having to fiddle with settings. Now for the bad news. The all-new version is only available for Windows currently. Those using Macs or or Linux will have to wait a while.
