It comes as no surprise after all the hype surrounding the Nintendo Wii’s latest game, to hear that Wii Fit has sold out almost as soon as it went on sale today. Online retailers like Play.com sold all their pre-orders in record time and since its launch in Japan, the fat-fighting game that comes with its own motion-sensing ‘balance board’ has flown off the shelves. With 1.4 million units sold so far, it’s already one of the Wii’s most popular games. Extensive media coverage and promotions in shopping centres up and down the country have clearly worked too well. However, there’s still a slim chance that the independent gaming shop that nobody knows about still has a copy on its shelves. Happy hunting…
