It might look like a regular mobile phone, but tap two Nokia 6212 handsets together and they swap contact details. It’s all done by a secure Bluetooth data sharing system called NFC (near field communication) that Nokia is trying out on the Classic in test markets around Europe and Asia later this year.
In addition to sharing items like business cards, photos, music and video, you can also pay for tickets and services over the air by entering your credit card details. Your queuing days are effectively over, leaving you time to appreciate the 6212’s 2-megapixel camera, FM radio and 4GB storage capacity.
