Set-top TV boxes are notoriously eco-unfriendly, doubling your TV’s energy consumption and continuing to guzzle electricity in sleep mode. This has prompted Sagem to put out two models that consume less than 5 watts each in operation and 2 watts in standby.
From the looks of this photo they’re also nice and compact, which is always a bonus: Freeview boxes tend to be ugly and cheap-looking as hell for some reason, so at least you can tuck this away without minging up your living room too much. The ITD58NG ECO offers all of the Freeview channels and now and next program info. For another £5 though, you can have a proper 8-day EPG with the ITD59NG ECO.
Out April | £24.99 and £29.99
