Is Nintendo gearing up to throw the wraps off an all-new version of its DS handheld console? While we’ve heard diddly-squat on the matter until now, one Hirokazu Hamamura (head of the company that publishes legendary Japanese gaming mag Famitsu) is predicted that we’ll see the new model launched at the E3 expo this summer.

Of course, Nintendo hasn’t said anything on the matter yet, but with the DS Lite still selling so well, it probably doesn’t want to mess with a good thing. We’ll keep you posted on any developments.
