You don’t see that much innovation in the watch world these days, but the Meccanico DG is a glowing exception: this chunky timepiece is the first digital watch to use all moving parts: the numbers are all mechanical rather than LED or LCD. Made by Swiss firm De Grisogono, it’s hewn from titanium and only 177 are being made. So we probably can’t afford one.
