Toshiba is reportedly working on an LCD television powered by the PS3’s Cell processor. Apparently Tosh reckons the chip can be used to deliver top-class upscaling, transforming standard low-def pictures into pristine HD images - or at least a “very close approximation of high definition”, as well as the ability to stream several feeds at once - like in this picture.
